At Spectus we are constantly reviewing the materials and processes required to manufacture, use and dispose of Spectus' PVC-U products, and their impact on the environment.
One major advantage of PVC-U over some other window frame materials is that it can be recycled. Also, a major constituent, chloride, is derived from salt, one of the most common materials in the earth's crust. Combined these factors contribute to the sustainability of PVC and limit its impact of the environment.
